Makes me think it's been quite some time now that we don't know what Double Fine is currently working on. Hope that after giving a sequel to Psychonauts they're returning to point'n click. Or they could do another attempt at The Cave concept.
@kalindea Perso mes premiers tomes รงa remonte ร fin collรจge/dรฉbut lycรฉe.
That makes me think, regarding to DNS settings, I'm going to stick to those rules from now on: -router: encrypted DNS, eventually adblock if available -computers: same as router -smartphones/tablet: adblocking DNS mandatory, as those are the devices where the chances to have ads a bit everywhere are the highest by default.
@ghostlyash Yeah, definitely I think that the overall implicit thing that makes a lot of people not caring is that underlying feeling it's just Nintendo at its greediest in years: -price tag is not far from doubled (actually it is more than it if you count Switch Lite which was sold under 200). And personally I'm immune to the "yeah, but you know, inflation" argument they love to throw at us all the time these days when they get that we don't buy the "higher costs" one, 4 years ago I bought my current Switch at 269, my salary has barely changed since then, so I don't care about inflation the only thing I see is that a console like this now costs 200 more while my pay is the same. -same for the +20 on games. And here, I mean they've released freaking huge games Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom at the old price tag we had for decades, so I would be very curious, what are the so much higher increased dev costs that seem to have suddenly pop into their super streamlined dev processes? I hope it's because they've suddenly finally decided to pay their teams more, otherwise that's just bshit. -the lineup of literally 1 Switch 2-only game, and Switch 2 versions of Switch 1 games which are resold without even being complete editions with all DLCs in.
@ghostlyash@SuperGaytor Well, tbh it's a bit like everything on the gaming market right now. The last 2 gens of Playstation and Xbox were just more powerful versions of PS3 and 360, all of the new major game genres allowed by HD gaming era were already there, they fundamentally didn't bring anything new major stuff at all. Some would say the PS5 controller, but I mean if I'm playing one of the PC ports with a random controller, if the games are good I'll enjoy them as much no matter what. So Switch 2 being just a more powerful version and not much more is just how it works for new consoles since the last decade. At least the hybrid concept still is its own unique thing.
Other main problems for Switch 2 right now, the console is expensive, the launch lineup is super bare minimum if you only count the Switch 2 only games, and there's a lot of annoying stuff regarding the monetization of how Switch 1 games are resold with a bit Switch 2 dusting.
