@ghostlyash Yeah, definitely I think that the overall implicit thing that makes a lot of people not caring is that underlying feeling it's just Nintendo at its greediest in years: -price tag is not far from doubled (actually it is more than it if you count Switch Lite which was sold under 200). And personally I'm immune to the "yeah, but you know, inflation" argument they love to throw at us all the time these days when they get that we don't buy the "higher costs" one, 4 years ago I bought my current Switch at 269, my salary has barely changed since then, so I don't care about inflation the only thing I see is that a console like this now costs 200 more while my pay is the same. -same for the +20 on games. And here, I mean they've released freaking huge games Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom at the old price tag we had for decades, so I would be very curious, what are the so much higher increased dev costs that seem to have suddenly pop into their super streamlined dev processes? I hope it's because they've suddenly finally decided to pay their teams more, otherwise that's just bshit. -the lineup of literally 1 Switch 2-only game, and Switch 2 versions of Switch 1 games which are resold without even being complete editions with all DLCs in.
