@ghostlyash to me it's just a more powerful switch. Maybe I'll be more interested when more games are released, maybe not. It's not like when the hybrid console concept was new and exciting
@ghostlyash@SuperGaytor Well, tbh it's a bit like everything on the gaming market right now. The last 2 gens of Playstation and Xbox were just more powerful versions of PS3 and 360, all of the new major game genres allowed by HD gaming era were already there, they fundamentally didn't bring anything new major stuff at all. Some would say the PS5 controller, but I mean if I'm playing one of the PC ports with a random controller, if the games are good I'll enjoy them as much no matter what. So Switch 2 being just a more powerful version and not much more is just how it works for new consoles since the last decade. At least the hybrid concept still is its own unique thing.
Other main problems for Switch 2 right now, the console is expensive, the launch lineup is super bare minimum if you only count the Switch 2 only games, and there's a lot of annoying stuff regarding the monetization of how Switch 1 games are resold with a bit Switch 2 dusting.
