That makes me think, regarding to DNS settings, I'm going to stick to those rules from now on:
-router: encrypted DNS, eventually adblock if available
-computers: same as router
-smartphones/tablet: adblocking DNS mandatory, as those are the devices where the chances to have ads a bit everywhere are the highest by default.
