well, i'm "not welcomed" at the gf's family christmas, something about "the other cousin not coming with his one year gf" (we're living together since 5 years and life long engaged in several ways), sure has nothing to do with the fact we're a transbian couple.

in all seriousness, I'm sorry to hear that. It's uniquely painful... I've heard of a similar story before from a lesbian couple where one of them is trans fem and the other cis.

I'm mainly angry for my gf, i already offered her to not come to not create drama, she wanted me to come and then her family did that, so she probably won't go. i'm really mad at that shitty behavior.
and yes we have spaces we're welcome in, we organize a thing in december to celebrate with other local trans persons and socialize.
@MeloGem You have my compassion. I know a similar situation from long before coming out. Maybe a one time demonstration of "if you won't accept my girl you won't get me" will help making people think and hopefully some will understand.
