we also had rain, blessed rain, a fair tonne of it, so hopefully that will mitigate at least some of the damage done and still to come.
it's a bit cooler (and muggier) outside, but the house is still decidedly toasty: our walls would appear to be storage heaters. hopefully the next few nights will empty them?
