In France, all students around 18-year old have to take a national exam called baccalauréat.
The mandatory subjects are:
History-geography
First foreign language
Science-Mathematics
French
Civics
PE
and...
Philosophy.
Yep, in France philosophy's considered a necessary part of children's education.
Today was the 1st philosophy test:
- Can you be happy when others are not?
- Are we in control of our own speech?
- Is debating searching for Truth?
- Can technology be bad?
