So. I’m considering moving my blog behind some type of authentication or verification wall.
Not to make money.
Just to guard against Google search engines and the like consuming my content and giving users AI summaries and more instead of the actual content.
What would that look like? Perhaps Mastodon / Bluesky oauth? Is there something I can use that doesn’t give “I collect your data” vibes? Because I have no desire for that.
And no recaptchas.
