Late last night, as I was having a midnight snack in bed, Karvinen was very displeased that I declined to share.

"Mother. Mother. For fuck's sake mother, give me the karjalanpiirakka now..."
A humorously dramatic cinematically lit photo of a tabby cat sitting on a sill, his front paws on a bed frame, staring into the camera but lit by a small bright lamp right next to him such that his face is but a mask of shadows, with hints of gleaming eye or shining whisker. His body posture is demanding and the tilt of his head slightly incredulous. He is being deprived of a traditional Finnish food that he is biologically capable of partially processing and that is not toxic to him, and yet he is not receiving any?

@sinituulia why must you remind me of Karjalanpiirakka ? Now I miss them, and I have to bake them myself too if I really want some.

@just_chill I'd not had them in years but now there's a gluten free and vegan frozen one and I am much pleased!
