I am thinking more and more to make a second Fediverse account but only for interacting with french stuff, more political/social while I keep this account more for my work/hobbies.

But I'm stuck at how do I manage reading two feeds ? Is there any fediverse client that can merge 2 feeds in one ?

We have communities dedicated to politic & news but also few chill topics ^^

You can follow them with a mastodon account :
@france @europe @monde

As for reading two feeds :
- Mobile app can support multi-account
- on mastodon, I use also columns and separate their topics

Then the mobile app & column view (inside you can specify hashtag, users...) should help reading two feeds.

That's the closest solution i have. :)
