When exporting a you can use a high compression level to reduce the file size. The compression is lossless so it doesn't affect the image quality.

It's a great way to save some space on your computer but also on your beloved instance (storage aint free after all) !

I made a tiny graph to summarize. It shows where you can set the compression in some softwares.

Between, Blender default's png compression is at 15%.

In summary, the graph explains that : The compression is lossless (unlike jpg) and it makes file size smaller without affecting the quality (900ko becomes 600 ko with max compression).
