this is such bs. Making devs to pay for interview tools is sketchy in my book. You should never have to pay anything in order to interview. Period.
A Reddit post titled "Company wants me to use Cursor for interview" from the r/cursor subreddit. The post discusses a live coding interview where the user is asked to use the Cursor tool, which is an AI-powered code editor. The user expresses concern about having to pay for the tool and questions whether this is a common practice.
