We may not live long enough to see space colonies, but we'll live long enough to see the human race getting stuck on Earth and slowly die because we're fucking up Earth's orbit with debris
@Soblow how easy it would be to deliberately make the low earth orbit unusable is quite scary to me. It demands significant means, but the tech isn't that complicated.
