I am brand new to Linux. I only need my PC to do basic music and video streaming and be able to run basic games. I would really like Steam to work.

Would Ubuntu or Bazzite be better for my first dual boot install? Thanks!

@jdacee in my experience, steam run everywhere on dofus and if not using steam, I use Bottles or Lutris to run Windows games.

Does your actual Steam install not work ?

@tournesol No issues that I am aware of, just looking for advice on which distro is more beginner friendly.

it lets you get an idea of what the install will look like. And don't try to optimize anything, the simpler it is, the more confortable you feel :3
