Social pressure of having kids
"What's new, well, we've finally signed our civil partnership last month.-Oh, that's great! Means you're gonna trying to have kids now?"
Hum...No?
We signed our civil partnership, it's only us two on it, and there's absolutely no mention of "they commit to have children" anywhere.
I mean, I do understand that I have a big family, most of my relatives have had children, a significant number of them up to 3 or 4, and are used to have people with kids around, but WTF? What's with this idea that you seemingly need to have children to, idk, cement your life or something, especially your love life?
And believe me, over the past weekend I've heard enough of the huge life problems you potentially have to deal with when you have kids not to regret our choice.
