I have finally finished Far Cry: New Dawn! What an interesting sequel/spin-off to FC5. It was an interesting thing to revisit the same world, but place it firmly in the post-apocalypse, which meant that it led to a feeling of familiarity yet disconnect with the world I remember from FC5. Like FC5, this was one of those games that leads into the badass hero themes well, and in a very tidy package.
I also really found that despite FC5 releasing in 2018 and this spinoff in 2019, the art direction and graphical design still look gorgeous despite being released originally for PS4/Xbox One, something very obviously missing from current gen games.
They added a lot of variety to make it feel a bit fresh while still keeping what made FC5 really fun and engaging to play.
A nice little bit of side content, I would say.
