@dcoderlt Democracies, not only in Europe but around the world, need to realise that America is no longer the "protector of the Free World".
There's a very good chance America will behave like Russia going forward.
To remain independent and democratic, other countries need to start working together on their mutual defence, working on the assumption that America will no longer be there to help.
Those meetings and conferences need to happen now.
@ajsadauskas@dcoderlt The problem is that many of them are so accustomed to the comfort provided by the American umbrella that they will prefer not to accept this new reality until they find themselves in a situation where the USA either lets them down or acts directly against them.
