I was wondering, with all the stuff, especially the wrong, going on around that, how was the actual creation of #AI envisioned in previous decades?

I mean, it's a huge scifi thing since a very long time, but what were the actual concepts for making it happen and the concrete works done on the idea before what we currently have?
