:boost_requested: I am trying to find a better Fediverse client. I tried Tusky, Elk, and the default interfaces of Mastodon and Iceshrimp.
After some time here, the purely chronological timeline is ... not entirely working for me. My main issue is that my feed is easily crowded by a handful of heavy posters, and I regularly miss updates from less active posters. I know I can make lists, but then they are usually hidden in the interface, and I have to sort between heavy/low posters.
I think an interface much closer to a RSS reader would be nice, so that all updates from a person are grouped and do not crowd out updates from other people. Has someone attempted to do that?
@etn as tu essayé phanpy.social ? ça regroupe les boosts donc ça rend la TL plus limpide et y'a une option "catch-up" qui te permet de voir tous les posts depuis un certain temps (ensuite ça tri par personne ayant posté donc si tu cliques sur la photo de profil ça filtre et ça te montre que cette personne)
@minybolito Merci ! Oui, c'est un peu ça. Dommage que ce soit une fonctionnalité un peu annexe qui oblige de donner un interval temporel, sinon ce serait parfait. Je vais continuer à essayer.
@etn oui c'est un peu dommage. après une fois que t'as fait une première recherche, quand tu reviens sur la page catch-up tu peux directement cliquer sur un historique je crois qui te donne direct les résultats piur l'intervalle de temps que t'as choisi précédemment
