As every year, holiday season is usually when I make big PC hardware buyings, but this year I'm very hesitant.
Shall I invest in replacing the aging Vega 56 on gaming PC 1, knowing that my usual pricing range has remained mostly in the same-as-2020 performances, and most of the cards are still 8GB of VRAM, which is a nope as this is what I already have on the Vega 56 and I want something a bit more future-proof than that.
Or shall I delay that a bit longer, and instead replace very standard 24" 60Hz FHD monitors of both gaming PCs with much more modern 24 or 27" QHD ones with all the current display techs and much higher frequencies, as there are pretty interesting models under 200 bucks?
