I think I have to switch back to Windows to get a decent workflow up and running. Linux is always causing me troubles and I am sick of it.

Ha, as expected I got it running in 30 minutes on Windows.

First build is done and working! 🔥

Now to make an actual game 😅

Next steps:

- Find a good software for pixel design
- Create backgrounds and get them to display in the game
- Try to get parallax scrolling working

I managed to get 2 background planes scrolling at different speeds.

Also, look at the amazing graphics!

@miona Haha, reminds me years ago when I was trying Adventure Games Studio, and I literally had just the most basic assets to learn using the soft.
