So, as I'm not going to use it as travel PC anymore, I might recycle my Acer Veriton X2632G into a compact, easier to keep around Windows XP-era gaming PC, as it's 4th gen Intel inside, the higher officially compatible, and it has a full sized optical disk drive which will be easy to replace if it breaks down.
I have everything I need to do that, except for the GPU: all I have in low profile that'll suit the GeForce 900/Radeon 200 max requirement are a pair of Dell customised Radeon HD 2400 Pro, which, ah, weren't great performing cards at all even back then.😅
