I am drafting an email to complain about the umpteenth instance of me being unable to register for an obligatory activity without having to label myself as either "Mr." or "Mrs.". Neither is applicable and I fail to see how the marital status of women (and only women) is relevant in the context.The complaint requires me to correct the language that is used on the registration form, to avoid confusion. I find this ironic.
Annoyingly, the registration form is for an obligatory English Proficiency test.
A small part of me hopes that pointing out the incorrect word choice in the first sentence of the registration form will be enough to exempt me from taking the test. That would probably be too good to be true.

For context: today was my fifth attempt at filling in the form, because every time I try, it hits me with that first required field, at which point I get annoyed and discouraged and give up 😂
