Anyway, if you think I’m a hateful person because I won’t respect the identity of someone who has unrepentantly enabled constant harm against me and my people, I’m fine with that.

I need people around me who actually believe in justice and harm reduction rather than cosplaying it online.

Because progress is inevitable.

@oceane Well, speaking up against racism is ultimately what I want everyone to consistently do, so I would say keep doing that.

For financial stuff, I work on a few projects specifically for the fedi that I am trying to fund.

There are some links in my bio for personal efforts I started an organization last year after a massive racist backlash last year, and one of the main projects is a hard fork of Mastodon.

And yeah, you’re not a target of it, so you wouldn’t see how bad it does get unless you follow Black and Brown folks.

But it’s a regular reality for us in the fedi.

@are0h Literally today, I was seeing an alleged feminist posting publicly that if women treated men according to their true value, there wouldn't be any heterosexual relationship in the world. I literally thought about you, about the French CGT's masculinism as gender/class consciousness, destroyed by the US, just like feminism is under strain because of Twitter.

Honestly I've been vocal against racism recently but I didn't realize how bad it was. I was trying to understand. Holy shit.
