Aight folks I'm tired, stressed, and I miss my cat who is still at the vet; things are going well and I think he'll be coming home soon, but I don't even want to think about what that bill is gonna look like. I need rest now.

Before I go however, I'd like to make a small request:

As I've mentioned in the past, I'm always happy to write for my people in the labor class for free, but I'm still facing a lot of financial pressure to help my mom keep her house. She's an old lady, and a cancer survivor, her husband (my stepfather) is also definitely dying of cancer. Neither of them can work, and their pensions aren't enough to pay the mortgage a crooked bank talked them into taking out on their farmhouse in better times.

I can promise that 100% of your generosity will go towards helping my mom keep her farmhouse and care for my stepdad; I don't take a single dime (not even for vet bills) and I never will; but I can't make this work on my own.

Also, some folks have mentioned to me that they'd like to help but are unable to donate through Ko-Fi, so if for whatever reason (don't trust me, can't use paypal, need to use a credit card, etc) you'd prefer another option - you can find my mom's GoFundMe here:

It's under my Mom's married name, but that's definitely my family. She's the beneficiary of the GFM so I literally couldn't touch that money if I wanted to.

Just, please, do me a favor okay? If you want to harass me, just harass me, leave my mom alone; she's a sick little old lady going through absolute hell on earth right now watching her husband die of cancer (for the second time, my father died of cancer too) and doesn't need to hear about internet drama from people who hate me. I don't share this GFM link often precisely because I don't want internet weirdos bugging her.
