@thenexusofprivacy Hi, it's a good blog post if anything because it contains a link to Ro's Awujo project, which I'd been looking for for weeks.
It's concise, informative, full of resources, so overall, IMHO and speaking as a white blogger myself, pretty good; much better than what we're used to in this scene.
The only criticism I can make rn at 2am is that you forgot to copy-paste the link to the BlackFedi group from your Mastodon instance, so it returns a 404 from your website.
@thenexusofprivacy OK so I think that digressing on sexism and "other problems" here is inappropriate. This is coming from a good place but speaking as a white trans woman this blog post isn't a "me" moment and such relationships to other people's problems shouldn't be encouraged, IMHO
@thenexusofprivacy By the way, this looks likn a classic case of bringing information, your expertise on the table and then commenting it on the fly – I'm pretty sure that your readers will connect the dots by themselves.
On the other hand, maybe they won't, at least not e.g. dysfunctioning ND people?
@oceane I hear what you're saying, but then again taking an intersectional approach all of these oppressions are linked. And they're all areas where the fediverse needs to make progress, so it's a good chance to raise awareness ... hopefulliy the way I did it doesn't detract from the overall point, I'll see what other feedback I get on this.
@thenexusofprivacy Yes, as I was saying maybe make it a footnote while making it explicit that this is a sort of extra reading, that this isn't directly related to antiracism – indirectly, sure, and strongly, but I think you get it
