@revk Fam, I'm not the person who's reported you, but about your update, I don't think there's a need to get on the defensive.

I've published something that I consider as problematic literally two days ago. Microblogging is, to simplify, an implementation of components we find in Nazism. We can get tired. Mistakes happen. But your defense of this post just makes it sound worse.

The problem isn't you versus an illegal call center operator, or you versus an illegal call center. It's you and this call center operator versus an extractive resources management system that came from good faith but got out of hand, and that currently relies on everyday racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, as a form of State capitalism brutality delegation.

This person had no other choice than to work for this call center, because of this system. This job consists in getting people hurt through, most of the time, personal data collection, but this may go as far as identity theft. Identity theft victims themselves are suffering, because of this system.

The phenomenon itself is very interesting and I could point you to a few French-speaking blog posts I've made, but I'm also available to chat about it. The key point for me is that you don't fight the harm these scams are causing by encouraging racism, because this only reinforces the global structure. Every oppression is tied to the forced production, appropriation, and concentration of resources by a minority of de facto oppressors. If these resources were fully reallocated to the workers and to public infrastructure instead, we wouldn't need a police in its current form (State terrorism) and thus, identity theft could hardly hurt people.

This is one of the reasons for which I disagree with your post, and why speaking as a white trans neurodivergent woman I'm taking it very personally: it impacts me, and a disproportionate number of people on this Twitter survivors network, as well.
