@transcendentempress Total commander or equivalent, can't do anything without it.

Firefox, having a web browser is nice.

Whatever is the tool of the day that debloats it and turns off automatic updates, telemetry, AI, and other crap.

Then whatever mission specific software i'm making the PC for.

In practice i have a bunch of template vm images with all of that already done, so usually it's just copy one and skip the first 3 steps.
