Like Vivek Ramaswamy and Nimarata Nikki Haley before him, JD Vance is learning that you can't perform anti-Blackness hard enough for white nationalists to forget that Indian people aren't white. They hate you too.🤷🏿‍♂️

This is going to be a difficult time for them.

And no, I don't wish for anyone to be verbally abused by tens of millions of violent racists. But fanning the flames of violent racism and anti-Indian sentiment when your family is Indian?😬 Is a choice, and not a good one.

I've pointed out before that study after study has shown that the richer and more anti-Black someone is, the more likely they are to support Trump. Who is richer and more anti-Black than billionaires who give less than 2% of funds to Black people?

Stop disrespecting poor white people.

Concretely, consider these 2 scenarios:

A) I am standing in a field in rural Alabama or Pennsylvania surrounded by 100 random people.

B) I am standing in a room in Atherton, surrounded by 100 founders and VCs.

There are more Trump supporters around me in B) than in A)

Because poor white people are less anti-Black, and less likely to support Trump.

@mekkaokereke I'l like to add that the far-right needs an illusion of cultural hegemony to win. They aren't culturally hegemonic. Few people actually like them. But we're many to think that our neighbors would actively support far-right policies.

I know French PoC who say "I'm not racist, but white Americans..." And IMHO, that's it, the French far-right is winning. People feel like criticizing the far-right would be antagonistic, or out of place. We're with you. 100%.

@mekkaokereke I'm sorry but you literally shared my post above as I was posting this, so I'd like to add that I am not promoting an anti-boss sentiment. IMHO, if you consider that an overwhelming majority of your co-workers would lean toward antifascism but that they would feel too peer-pressured to be vocal about it, and if you consider capital owners' ambivalence toward the far-right (François Pinault, a billionaire, has called the French people to vote for the New Popular Front), partly because they are sometimes presented as willing to abolish inheritance, which isn't true, then you could explain some employers' intimidation of unions for their antifascist propaganda at workplaces as a preference for the far-right, rather than for the center-left.

I think we'll agree on this, not every VC investor supports Trump, I haven't looked up the statistics! But for those who do, then if your co-workers share an antifascist sentiment, preventing unions from producing spectacular images (in the sense of Guy Debord) sounds like a necessary strategy. Repression of legal antifascist propaganda at workplaces seems to support my opinion; I especially didn't mean to use your platform to share my personal propaganda.
