My mom's new laptop is now ready to use. I've installed ZorinOS, with Vivaldi as main browser and AdGuard/BitWarden/Raindrop extensions combo, kept Firefox as backup. Base LibreOffice replaced by OnlyOffice for its better compatibility with MS Office files. Good old VLC for handling video files.
