xbox games on playstation, playstation games on switch. i don't think nintendo will ever put their games on other consoles ever but now would be the time to do it. they're the only ones that haven't so far

@ghostlyash Although I quite like the idea of Nintendo keeping doing their stuff forever, and having tons of other devs trying to replicate in their own way to compensate.

@transcendentempress i do kinda agree with this but also don't. it is nice that other people can fill in that niche and think that's pretty valuable, but at the same time xbox and playstation aren't putting all their games on every system all the time, just one or two every now and again. i don't think there's any harm for nintendo to do it like once every other year or something like that if the audience is there and want it

@ghostlyash Yeah, though also often Nintendo is still tailoring their own games for their own specific hardware, which tends to be less and less the case for the other two. Like, they still blend in some motion gaming and stuff, which were mostly dropped on Playstation and Xbox.

@transcendentempress yeah i get you. ig for me i am a huge proponent of people being able to play whatever they want on whatever they want. whether that's playstation, xbox, or nintendo systems. i don't see much value in keeping things walled off for people. i personally think it's anti consumer but i understand why it exists. but tbh when it comes to nintendo they are so hyperfocused on what they are doing i don't ever really seeing them agreeing on that idea so it doesn't really matter either way

@ghostlyash And, well, in the end everyone is going to finish on PC one way or another, as even for Nintendo, you just turn on emulators. Of course those who are clever enough to know when not bragging too much about the potential money they might make if their software is successful, so that Big N lawyers don't turn their vengeful eyes on them.😆
