@anderscreative I hate the PS5, because Sony is severely lacking in terms of services for players. But they have more exclusive games. Xbox is great for backwards compatibility and GamePass, but it lacks a lot more in terms of exclusive IPs. I'd even say it's pretty horrid on that front.
@anderscreative backwards compatibility for once. It technically has some form of that, but it's behind a paywall and it's only on a list of selected games. On that front, Xbox is far ahead of them, and it improves on the performances of old games. It's fantastic.
@anderscreative And like it or not, but GamePass can be a great service. It has a lot to offer, but it's drawbacks are also visible. And I deactivated it because I don't have the time to play so many games. I rather buy them on sale.
@anderscreative And on the technical side, I think the PS5 is not great. Too big (even with a slim design), the controller is too pricey and full of gimmicks, and the battery life on it is the worst I've seen on any controller. You can't even change it or replace it.
@FlorianBodin This is very helpful, thank you! I think that backwards compatibility is indeed quite valuable to me, I’m catching up on years of games I want to play so perhaps the Xbox would serve me well. Appreciate the input!
