ftp deprecated. okay. what about scp? that is deprecated too. 🤡
both ftp and scp deprecated. Now, recommended replacement is rsync or sftp.

@noahm @nixCraft Thank you! Honestly the scp command has always felt a little bit weird to me. I couldn't tell why atm (I got the flu) but without pretending to be an authority about anything related, I'm glad it's deprecated.

@oceane OpenSSH 9.0+ switches scp(1) from using the legacy scp/rcp protocol to using the SFTP protocol by default www.openssh.com/txt/release-9.0
