So I’m thinking I’ll the opportunity to switch to #NixOs but I’m not sure if $btrfs and #snapper are needed cause nix can rollback natively ​:pika_thunk:​
@tournesol data backups help still for home directory backups and service data that sometimes goes through a database migration for upgrades and that doesn’t rollback automatically
@tournesol nice thing about nix is you can build things like that over time. I don’t have backups sorted out either, besides syncthing for my documents folder. But eventually I’ll get to it :)
@brk yeah, what’s what I’m thinking. And cause I never trust that my computer won’t get stolen, I always backup everything somewhere​:meow_nerd:​
