Was looking into understand why everyone talks about neovim instead of vim and found myself trying Helix and … wow out of the box I learned more how to use a vim-like editor than in one year on vim ???
@tournesol I really like it, it fits my mental model better (select first, act on selection). Only thing that prevents me from daily driving it is the lack of plug-in support yet. Hopefully soon!
@beeb yeah seems so much natural ! And cause I was on vim vanilla, seems to me that there is so much things available out of the box. I don’t have to look for the best plugins for ages, feels like christmas :amaze:
