Huh …heard some grumbling about , checked into firefish.social, and right now it looks like the nightmare scenario anti-Fedi misinformation would depict.

While it’s not entirely surprising as someone who was there earlier, firefish’s 2023 hype->”crash” story really does seem like some marketing people/mentalities got involved with something they shouldn’t have.

As much as I can agree that it shouldn’t have happened on the flagship instance, they don’t represent the whole of the project

@tournesol the flagship “sinking” is a red flag for the project. At least that’s how it will be perceived by many. It’s also the biggest.
