Update: The video has been restored thanks to interventions from allies.
We just had a video removed immediately upon publication on Instagram. The platform claimed it contained "praise or support" of "people and organizations we define as dangerous." The video did nothing of the sort.
It was a video report - from our journalists – about increased arrests in the occupied West Bank.
@jaryl The Mondoweiss staff – who host their own instance – are well aware of Instagram's shortcomings, but it's hard enough to reach your niche without having to give up on a database that has literally billions of users. No disrespect meant to you, but this comment was just mansplaining.
