Fish (as in shell) is intentionally not POSIX-compatible 😉
In this meme, the Fish shell is being discussed. It is intentionally not POSIX-compatible, which means that some things you may be used to will work differently. The image shows a man seeing a young boy crying and saying, "If you want to cry, I'll give you something to cry about." The man then hands the boy a book from O'Reilly Media about the Fish shell.

@nixCraft Which is a shame. Fish delivers a great experience out of the box, but when you want to do more with it, the fact that it isn't POSIX compatible becomes a source of headaches more than anything.
