Like, I told y'all already, when my friends ask about Mastodon now, I just tell them "you're too old for forum games."
Dunno what else to tell you. Nobody in my real life; not academics, not activists and antifascists, not my friends and family, is signing up for this.
I honestly CANNOT recommend this shitshow to serious people. I just can't. There's so much shit wrong here it's actually hard to explain to someone who hasn't been out on the fedi the past 6 months.
