We have decided to block misskey.io for tendencies to post content adjacent to child pornography and showing behaviour aligning with queerphobia.

The admins of misskey.io have ignored reports and the presence of heavily sexualised loli content; content that we believe is not far removed from actual child pornography.

The admins also have boosted queerphobic posts from another instance admin, mstdn.jp, who directly attacks and harasses queer people.

We also see that the misskey.io admins do not have a strong position of allyship, going out of their way to ask LGBTQ users on their own server to suppress their queerness when it becomes "too bothersome" for them, throwing them under the bus before considering their own position and relations on the fediverse.

A misskey feed of @AureoleArk, an admin of misskey.io, it shows that they have boosted posts from @AerospaceCadet@mstdn.jp, listing "unsafe" servers, which tech.lgbt is included in.
A post from @AerospaceCadet@mstdn.jp, which the misskey admin boosted from, it reads (translated); "I've been on the net since I was a pasocommuter, and recently I finally realized that what is needed for the net, where the pan-intellectual class can communicate in a flat manner, is not tolerance for diversity, but exclusion of idiots. Kill the Pajokus, kill the Netoyos. Kill the poly-college. Kill cultural conservatism. Radiobrain kills. False science kills, anti-vaccine kills, EM kills. Feminism kills, femi-male (trans women?) kills, LGBT kills, everyone kills. No mercy."
A post from @syuilo, saying (translated); "I think this kind of thing might lead to LGBTQ+ being a pain in the ass.", with 67 emojis saying "hard talk"/"telling it like it is" in japanese.

Fediblock: misskey.io @cyanidedansen Si la majorité des reports viennent d'instances queer, leur réaction me semble logique, de ce que je connais des japonais collés aux RS. La plupart font des amalgames extrêmement rapidement surtout lorsqu'il s'agit de non-japonais : des instances japonaises commencent à bloquer toutes les IP hors Japon. Twitter est le seul RS qui avait réussi à trouver un équilibre.
Et sinon mstdn.jp est je crois un panier de merdes depuis sa création où s'est déroulé pas mal de harcèlement il y a quelques années (j'ai pas les détails)
