I don't see how I can follow a hashtag in Firefish. Is that possible?

@ericjmorey you can’t follow them like on mastodon, but you can follow them by using antennas. This wiki page is more detailed on how to use them thefedi.wiki/firefish/user/antennas

@tournesol so nothing to make them show up in your home feed? I need to figure out a new way to think about Firefish.

@ericjmorey no not in the homefeed.
How I do is I use the deck layout and have my home feed and antennas on the side of it

@tournesol the deck layout isn't for mobile which it how I've primarily been using Mastodon. I think Firefish just requires a different approach which I'll have to work out.

@ericjmorey @tournesol Yes, Firefish is not trying to be another Mastodon. It has a different approach, as do many other pieces of software.

Some people do seem hell bent on wanting it to work like they are used to from other services.

Glad you are thinking about new approaches.
