So funny how british people are convinced the monarchy earns them money. People go to London to see the funny clock, bridge, and red metro, not some decomposing ruler??
@luna Hmm totally, I've been to London a few years ago, it was amazing, but I recall having been to the National Gallery, to a musical, to King's Cross (before Rowling came out as a fascist), etc. I actually remember the London tower as a sordid place with a wing dedicated to torture (that we didn't visit) and indeed, after a long, boring walk, a crown of poor taste, covered with an indecent amount of gold and jewels.
The beef eaters were remotely funny but not so much of a touristic attraction. Relatively speaking, I remember more vividly Big Gay Ice Cream (an ice cream shop in Berlin IIRC, with rainbow toppings) than either the crown or beef eaters.
