The instance "art" censored and vetoed users for posting Goya's classic painting "La maja Desnuda", has vetoed users for questioning the ban on referring to "GNU Image Manipulation Program" as "GIMP", has banned Social, and now the BBC, etc
I guess that's right that the owner of the server imposes her authoritarianism as she wants, it's what private property has. But many artists come to mastodon thinking that "art" is a standard domain, and when they see all this they decide to leave Mastodon.↘️

With this in mind, I think it would be good for Mastodon if, when choosing an instance, we could read reviews and recommendations from other users.

@harriorrihar Yeah she's shared a post from an admin who was announcing blocking stux (mstdn.social admin) and Bryan (universodon admin), insulting them, and when I've told them they were fragmenting the fediverse and probably playing Facebook's scheme (their timing with the Reddit migration was no coincidence) they tried to escalate the conversation and to get me to insult them so they could tone police me (they were very good at it).

She was following me, I've mentioned her as this was the standard behavior on mastodon.el, so she's unfollowed me.

My partner has called this user (not WelshPixie, but the admin she'd shared) “a fascist”.

I think that calling her behavior “authoritarian” is reasonable and also arguable.
