@ratastique @sebsauvage Sans oublier le fait que Microsoft a des accords avec les écoles et universités pour fournir gratuitement l'OS et les logiciels. Et n'oubliez pas de leur apprendre à utiliser Word et Excel, et s'ils font de l'informatique, utilisez C# svp, comme ça on a une ribambelle de gens avec des connaissances sur nos outils en sortie d'études et ça devient le standard de facto :chick_ohoho:

@hbuchel I think for me, I see web designers mostly taking care of the "Figma" (or equivalent) part, and frontend developers want to mostly take care of the JS part. And the problem I see is with the HTML/CSS.

I personally think that web designers should be able to write HTML and CSS for the different components, and the frontend developers would "just" need to make the components interactive with JS.
However, nowadays your HTML mostly depends on your web framework, creating a list of components uses different keywords in different frameworks, in some cases we put the HTML in a different file and in other cases we put it in the same file, and write JS directly in it... It has become a happy mess, and nobody writes good ol' HTML and CSS anymore.
As a result, it became the responsibility of frontend developers, who are usually not educated on the new frameworks they're going to use and will likely produce something that results in a horrible DOM. After all, they mostly want to do JS.

At least, that is what I see in the industry: web designers take care of Figma, frontend developers take care of reimplementing things in the web framework the project uses, and we rarely have any kind of expert in HTML, which means all the accessibility elements of HTML, that are usually not visible, are just lost. But, at least, we have somewhat coherent looking web pages :akko_shrug:

Je viens de finir The Fall of the House of Usher. Si vous aimez les histoires de Poe, ça peut également vous plaire. Une série bien travaillée faisant référence à plusieurs œuvres de Poe, de l'horreur semi-soft (il y a quelques scarejumps quand on ne s'y attend pas mais c'est surtout de l'horreur mentale avec une pointe de surnaturel).

@Camille_Poulsard Ce sondage risque d'avoir des résultats très biaisés : les personnes ne souhaitant pas rester sont beaucoup moins susceptibles de voir le sondage en premier lieu, puisqu'elles n'utilisent sans doute plus ou très peu Masto.
Je pense qu'il aurait été plus intéressant de demander pour les personnes ayant testé Bluesky si elles veulent y rester également, plutôt que juste rester ou pas sur Masto.

Je ne sais pas si j'en ai parlé ici, mais ces temps-ci j'utilise European Alternatives lorsque je veux utiliser un nouveau service.

Ce site propose une liste des services numériques Européens, qui garantit donc que les lois Européennes (RGPD entre autre) sont en vigueur et que les données sont stockées en Europe.
Il y a également un tag pour les projets qui font des efforts écologiques, et pour les projets open source.

Dans l'ensemble, ça m'a fait découvrir plusieurs alternatives intéressantes, je recommande.

If you think that because it's a non-profit, Wikipedia has to use all the money it receives during the year, you're wrong: their current strategy is to keep at least 4 months of cash reserves, which can be used if things go wrong. And if you look at their annual statement, you'll also see that the money they spent on salaries increased by 30% between 2021 and 2022, so it's not like they aren't using it either.
