Work rant
Well, things were going too well. So it seems one of the server we removed today wasn't supposed to be removed. Luckily it's the one of the site I'm going back to tomorrow morning.
This kind of thing really start to get on my nerves. It's been 4 months since we had the last schedule for that project. 4 months during which absolutely nobody, especially the project manager ahead, send us nothing regarding any possible changes. So of course we planned according what we had, and in advance, as those 4 sites, which were the same week on the initial schedule, are a 6-hours round trip, so we have to plan it accordingly if we don't want to multiply road trips.
And there we have the project manager who arrives like a flower “oh no, you didn't have to take that one off after all, it's been postponed until the end of the year”.
How the hell were we supposed to know, you idiot who didn't communicate anything to us since 4 bloody months?:blobcat_angery:

Every time I see Valon castle, perched high up on its mountain spur between two steep valleys, I wonder what the point was of building a whole castle, and not just a tower (because I suspect that, given the location, the main attraction is the view over the surrounding area). It's already not an easy road to get there today, so back then I can't imagine who would go and lay siege to a place like that.
