Okay, so after a few missions of the human campaign (aka. the non-canon one😄), this remaster is definitely an amazing way to play Warcraft: Orcs & Humans.
While most of the original gameplay has been kept as is, such as the obligation to place your buildings near roads, or no queue for units production, the modernized controls and the increase of units selection from 4 to 12 are incredible game changers.
There could still be margin for some improvement though if Blizzard wanted. Custom games are still limited to 1v1 against computer (though, I had almost forgot, this first Warcraft game had dungeon maps which are pretty cool to play), and they ditched multiplayer entirely, so no way to play more massive games, which would have been awesome with the gameplay improvements.
